Category: Bleeding and Cupping
Estimated Date: 1850
Name: Bleeder

Description: 8.5” long, about 0.5” diameter. Closely resembles a lebenswecker, but the blades are only three and triangular shaped resembling the bite of a leech and the bleeder that was designed by Tiemann? The blades are caused to strike by pulling the rod in the end (ivory) and releasing it from a spring. There is also a nice ivory trim at the business end of the instrument. Rest is made of a plastic resin.
