Description: 7.5×1.25×2.75” red velvet lined walnut case with label for Gemrig inside. Two nickle plated retractors, steel director and four ivory handled knives, two replacements, one labled Tiemann and the other Shepard and Dudley. A transitional set as nickle began to be used but instruments that could not be sterilized properly were still being sold.
