Description: 2.75“x 1.25” cylindrical device made of a natural plastic similar to another device in the collection. The cap, which unscrews has inscribed A.R. Brown M.D., pat Dec 1868. 15 needles are mounted on a plate in the cylinder. A screw top can be turned to advance the needles through a plate with appropriate holes which are normally covered by the cap.
