MoHMA Henri Becquerel In January Henri Becquerel discovered radioactivity. This medal commemorates that event and demonstrates the great mystical power that people believed radioactivity had. There are the emanations of radioactive particles, alpha, beta and gamma rays shown. The jar represents the boundless energy source with no depletion and the stalk of wheat the great energy converted to endless sources of food.
