This is one of many “safe” medicines produced by the Warner Safe Company. The company originally made safes before going into the patent medicine business and used a safe on the embossing to show that origin. The bottle is 6 3/4” high 2 3/4” wide x 1 1/4”“ deep and has a light oval shape. The embossing is quite heavy. The company originated in Rochester, NY. See the other example on this site that is larger and lists a specific cure. The bottles embossed remedy rather than cure are later after the pure food and drug act limited the claims for cure.. A very small later version (2 1/4” x 5/8” d is shown where the word remedy has not been removed and it simply referred to as Warner“s safe pills.
