Description: 12.5” x 3.3/4” x 2 1/2” brown oak box with the letters LU on the lid and white silk pad top lid contains three pieces. 10 3/4” main piece has microphone like earpiece 2 3/8” in diameter, wooden turned handle 5 3/4 × 1” and 2 3/4” x 3/16”. There are also tw o extenders that are 3/16” by 9 3/4”, which can be joined to the main piece to extend it. When placed against an object, the sound is nicely transmitted to the earpiece permitting localization. On the earpiece on the back, which is metal and bakelite is inscribed Magnet Arell, 2000 ohms(the symbol) RE.
