Description: 16 3/4 “ long binaural with woven tubes connecting gutta percha chest piece 4” to metal ear tubes. In place of the usual rubber band for tension there is a V shaped connector to the ear tubes with a rod and spring adjusted by a nut to maintain tension. Ear pieces are also gutta percha. This is an uncommon variation that uses a tension device similar to Dennison and is pictured with natural plastic ear tubes in Davis. Labelled Knights in Tiemann, 1889.
