Description: 2.75“x 1” silver plated tube with funnel off side opening to 2” and directing light to a mirrored reflector with hole in the middle . Eye piece at one end with lens and other end has a funnel 2” long. There are two additional funnels for insertion into the ear in a 3.5“x 3“x 2.75” black box, which holds the apparatus. A simple example of a relatively common device prior to the introduction of electric lighting.
