Description: The lithograph shown here is from a famous painting in Paris by Chartran. Under the image there is engraved the words “D’Apres T Chartran” on the left and on the right “Heliogravure” The print itself measures 20” x 16”. It is titled “ Laennec a L’Opital Necker Auscultate un Physique (1816). Chartran was a classical French painter (1849-1907).
