Name: Dr. Weavers Original Nasal Filter
Manufacturer: Nasal Filter Co.

Description: 6” x 3” x 1.5” box contains directions, silver nasal piece, forceps, tube of lambs wool filters and special filter oil. Filters are placed on nose piece, inserted in nose and oiled to trap pollen for hay fever. This device has an interesting history that I learned of from Matt Webber, ATCLink Text Here. “It was invented by Harrison Weaver in 1936 to treat a member of the St, Louis Cardinal baseball team. Weaver was an osteopath and athletic trainer for the team.” The sales of the nasal filter were quite successful and he made a lot of money from the business he established as a sideline.
