Description: 12” sound shaped nickle plated instrument 0.5” knob on end turns to open shaft and two wings labeled Ford on one and Caswell Hazard and Co. on the other. Each wing is 1”. Dilation is achieved by turning the handle to separate the sound end in two parts. As the knob is turned to dilate the instrument, a screw in the handle advances along a gauge from 0 to 10 to indicate the expansion.
