Description: Unusual tortoise shell monaural stethoscope. The ear piece is 2.5” shell and the chest piece also of tortoise 0.75”. The two are connected by a brass rod, the whole 6.25” in length. Unusual is the spring mechanism where if the ear and chest ends are pulled apart, the brass rod unlocks from the ear piece and it can be folded down through a slot for carrying in the pocket.
