Three ridges decorate the device at the top of each piece. The hole is 1/4”. This is a very early design that is a hybrid, perhaps between 1819 and 1826. There is a custum made leather case, lined with velvet and with oak ends one of which serves as a stand. There is a lable “stetoscopio primo tipo”.
